Happy Cinco de Mayo! Lunch was punctuated today by the stylings of a mariachi band outside of Guzman y Gomez. Even better, $5 burritos in celebration of the day. … [Read more...]
And then your brain says YES
Because sometimes you DON'T EVEN KNOW you required something like a hamburger that provides 2 days of fat and calories or a new car with an Ipod connector or cereal with a little toy or a loan of money, and then you see an ad or get an email and suddenly you know, YES I NEED THAT THING that I didn't know I needed but have been conveniently pre-approved for! Then again, maybe not today. But I'm sure there will be something else tomorrow. … [Read more...]

Lollypops or jawbreakers?

Modern day water torture. … [Read more...]

This year, Anzac Day happened at the same time and we all ended up with 5 glorious [albeit rainy] days off. Thursday was like Friday, Saturday lasted for 4 days and Tuesday evening has had that Sunday feel about it... We did very little for most of it and I cooked alot. [I know 'alot' is not really a word … [Read more...]
