Sometimes simple is best.
Take for example basil – chopped with a few walnuts and whisked into a perfect pesto.
Or peaches – sliced and slightly spiced and baked into a pie.
Or tomatoes – pureed into a drink or roasted for sauce …
… or rubbed on garlic-y bread with a drizzle of olive oil, a pinch of salt and a sprinkle of thyme.
Simple and perfect.
