3 days. 3 days until we're sitting on an airplane headed to America-land. 3 days of blur. The past few weeks have flown by in a flurry of editing and technical-publishing-learning-as-I-go-blah-blah and food photography and art direction. It will continue up until the moment we leave, and quite possibly for a bit while we are away, and as a result the impending holiday is proving a bit more laced with stress than anticipation. Gluten Free Quinoa Cornbread
I've been a touch quiet 'round internet-land these past few weeks but there's been lots happening in the background... I'm not even kidding. It's the last Monday of the month and therefore time once again for a Secret Recipe Club post. This month I was assigned the lovely blog Fearless Homemaker, and talk about … [Read more...]
Berry Filled Hot Cross Buns & an Easter Breakfast Braid
How does one make a batch of Hot Cross Bun even better? Stuff them with berry filling of course. Yes, it is a genius idea [if I do say so myself] but I can't take full responsibility for it... Let me back up a little bit first. A few months back I was over on Claire's site and she was sharing the exciting news that she had become a member of the Secret Recipe Club. It reminded me that I had applied for a spot at one point so I chased it up, and before I knew it I had a group! The way … [Read more...]
