I've decided that I need something made out of wood to use for photographs. As the counter tops are old yellow plastic-y laminate, and the floors are unfortunate vinyl or carpet, and the dining table is almost black, and really really big cutting boards and butcher blocks are prohibitively expensive, I figured I'd just make what I wanted [of course I did]. Ahh-ha moment(s)
1 - Thanks to a post on The Pioneer Woman's Photography section I have discovered the 'vivid' setting on my Nikon. Can I get a hallelujah. Amazing. Have been incredibly frustrated by the slightly dull appearance of my photos in pretty much any light and the need to adjust them [or not and just deal with it because I can't be bothered....].
