The great thing about a country that is more concerned with having a few days off than with public holiday political correctness is that everyone gets a 4 day break for the Easter Long Weekend. Dinner for one
So everyone has that diner they eat when there is no one else around - no one to feed something from each of the food groups to, or appease with a steak, or impress with something complicated that was 'just a breeze to throw together'. Fire roasted tomato sauce
So I like pasta shaped like stuff other than pasta – no, not THAT kind, get your head out of the gutter! This kind: Pasta shaped like Swedish elk heads – could you resist?? They also tend to look like angels or crabs depending on the angle and current mindset of the observer. Even better they are wholemeal and organic….you’d never guess they are from Ikea…huh? Ribbon Salad with Port Vinaigrette
As promised, this is the accompaniment to the White Fish Burgers posted yesterday. There is just something fun about vegetables in the shape of ribbons, don't you agree? White Fish Burgers
So I've got some recipes coming up for dips, sauces and bread but I figure that I should get a main in there somewhere first!
