…well actually it was my present to me – a new 50mm 1.4 AF-S lens for my Nikon.
but hey, a better lens means not only more sanity for me when shooting in low light [kitchen at 9pm + overhead bulb = crappy light + no tripod = blah], but better pics for the blog. And therefore better reading for you! [yep, I’m just as good at justifying new shoes.]
You will start to see better [hopefully!] pics mixed in until all the recipes in the wings have been posted – that said I of course want to go back and make them all again now! I also want a 35mm 1.8 AF-S but one step at a time [or more accurately one tax year at a time]. Happy snapping.
Nice lens. I had my eye on the 1.2 variant until this one came out and was much more affordable. This is still listed as preorder on amazon in the states though.
