RJ was away for work a week or two ago. He came home with presents, which is always a winner. The first one was a lovely little magnet:
And on presentation I asked only half jokingly, ‘did you get this at the airport?’. He almost didn’t give me the other gift [oops, sorry mate!].
I am a sucker for green tea and have about 15 different kinds on regular rotation. This he found in a little tea shop in Perth that is the only place in Oz to import it.
Soursop is a big fruit related to the custard apple. I am generally not a fan of fruit flavoured teas but this one is lovely, it smells sweet and slightly tangy – like apricot jam with lime or the apple gummys you can get in asian grocery stores – but is crisp enough to not be syrupy tasting. Beautiful hot, but would be fantastically refreshing iced too. I had a cuppa today with one of these…..
…will post the recipe for them shortly!
Definitely a keeper [the tea and treats too].
