Yesterday we boycotted responsibility. It was Saturday after all, but we even boycotted weekend responsibility. We did not do the grocery shopping or cleaning, or go house-hunting, or exercise, or do any work. We slept late – really late. And then went out for brunch. And then wandered across the city to a festival day type thing. And then sat on the grass and ignored what was playing on stage to talk to each other instead and soak up a gorgeous Sydney autumn day. And then made a nice dinner and watched a movie.
At some point I’ll post a recipe from dinner, and a pic or two of the cool wooden city name block art stand we saw, and tell you about how I have to go to work on Monday [the kind that pays me, not the working like crazy to launch a new business kind], but for now, I am still just basking in a lovely day.
