…and this is what the past few days have looked like…
Day 22 – in final preparation for our arriving guest I cleaned, and did laundry, and picked-up, and cleaned, and, well you get the point – so I’ve [borrowed] this pic from another day [and another year]. We went to the farm at harvest last year and ended up being there to pick the white grapes. A bit of manual labour is good for the soul, all the grapes you can eat is good for the belly.
Bonus about picking the white ones by hand, they are mixed in with the purple ones, and those can be eaten too.
Day 23 – fancy [tree] for a fancy school – even coordinating with the paint, so posh.
Day 24 – Mom got to Sydney yesterday and today is her birthday. Her sister [my aunt] said to mom before she left home that at least her birthday would get celebrated as it should be this year…a bit of a fancy [family] dinner out…
…and a view to match
…how’d we do?
Day 25 – Another day at the beach but really, with [water] like this how can you resist.
Day 26 – this was the last shop we stopped in before [lunch], love me some vintage.
Day 27 – A beautiful day for a bbq with [friends]. The boys played cricket, the girls watched the babies run [and roll] around [instead of watching the boys play cricket, oops], and we all had a lovely time.
