So I have decided that the rainbow category is my get-out-of-jail-free card. It was a [rainbow] of heat, light and people today.  The temp reached 42 degrees - that's 105 - not 80, not 90, not even 100, but 105. HOT HOT HOT.  There was a breeze - if something that feels like it is blowing out of a oven can be called 'breeze', and if the category wasn't taken already, this pic would have been [fire] simply due to the fact that it felt like everything was about to burst into flames at any moment.  … [Read more...]

Summer pink frangipani [flower] over the fence of the neighour's place.  I see this tree on my way home every day - makes for a nice welcome! For a tree that looks like an over-sized E.T. hand all winter long, it makes a good showing during the warmer months.  The original yellow ones are nice too, but I am definitely partial to a good splash of pink.
