So in the hunt for a decent plug-in to pull the Flickr stream through [including 2 false starts with two of the top rated ones] there has been a bit of a delay on posting! Pretty pics soon but for now, a reasonably amusing phone conversation that I had recently with a person who shall remain nameless [sort of]…
[JJ] ‘Hi m-m”
[M] ‘Hi, did you get my text messages the other day?’
– ‘Nope’
‘Oh darn, they were really good ones – long and detailed’
– ‘Oh really…how long?’
‘I still have them, I’ll read them to you……….’
[approximately 3 minutes and perhaps 3000 characters later]
– ‘hum, those were nice messages, but they are emails really, a text is supposed to be 140 characters, not words, characters, your phone probably just didn’t send them – or maybe mine couldn’t receive them…’
‘Oh….well the phone could of at least told me that it didn’t send it’
– ‘Riiiiight, so…anyway….’
